Michael Sanderson (Faculty Advisor)

Michael Sanderson has over 15 years of experience in entrepreneurship, economic development and professional training. He has extensive leadership and project management experience and has been responsible for the development and delivery of varied projects including multi-year employability training programs for recent graduates and priority youth, conference planning and coordination, a variety of research and consulting projects, and professional development training.

Matt MacPhee (Faculty Advisor)

Matt MacPhee is a consultant at the Sobey School Business Development Center and part-time faculty member in the Management Department at Saint Mary’s University. He has a Masters degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology and several international coaching and consulting certifications. Matt has trained and coached hundreds of businesses across Atlantic Canada.

Jason Turner (Faculty Advisor)

Jason Turner works with the Skills Development and Training Division of Sobey School Business Development Centre as a Senior Project Manager, focusing on administering employability programs for Halifax youth, as well as promoting entrepreneurship at Saint Mary’s. Jason manages the Spark Zone, an Entrepreneurship Sandbox which brings together students and community members to create, develop, and ultimately launch business ideas and social innovations.

Monique Boudreau (Support Advisor)

Monique Boudreau works with the Skills Development and Training Division of the Sobey School Business Development Centre as the Project Manager of an employment program for youth living with disabilities in the Atlantic Region.

Paulette Campbell (Support Advisor)

Paulette Campbell is the Office Administrator for the Sobey School Business Development Centre at Saint Mary’s University.

Brennan Daley (Support Advisor)

Brennan is a graduate of Saint Mary’s University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Since August 2016, Brennan has been working with the Skills, Development, and Training Division of the Sobey School Business Development Centre as the Project Manager of Work Smarts, a subsidized employment program for new graduates. Brennan was a member of Enactus Saint Mary’s for two years, and in his final year, volunteered as a Project Manager for OPtions Nova.

Alex Rafuse (Support Advisor)

Alex Rafuse is the Project Manager for Work Smarts NS, a wage subsidy program designed for recent graduates, facilitated by the Sobey School Business Development Centre. He is a resourceful problem solver with experience in graphic design, financials, team management, and web-development. Alex previously held the role as Director of Technology for the team.
